detailing our plans with a story board

Image
Slide one: Using a high angle shot, we will see our actor looking down at their test that they failed. Defeated they put their head down on top of their paper.  Slide two: The next scene the actor begins to fall asleep. They are still on top of their failed test. We will zoom in on their head as they fall asleep. Slide three: The next scene the actor wakes up in their dream. They look down and using a point of view shot they see that they have an A on their test. They look visibly excited and happy. They get up and walk out of view.  Slide four: The next scene we can see the actor happy and getting ready to leave the house. Using a tracking shot, we can see them leave the house. Slide five: In this scene we can see the actor joining her group of friends. They are all excited and having fun. We can see this on their expressions using a medium close up. Slide six: We can see the group walking to the beach with tracking shots. Once they get there they are walking around and having fun.  S

exciting plans for the future

Props We are going to use a paper to act as a test that we failed. We also are going to have ice cream that we eat towards the end of the video, to show a mood change. Costumes In our music video, our actors are going to be wearing normal day clothes. Since we will be filming at the beach, shorts will most likely be worn. Our actors will also be wearing t-shirts or tank tops.  Schedule On 11/12, we began to research other music videos from the same genre and song. On 11/16, we started to plan for our video. We established costumes, props and the location. We also made a backup plan. On 11/19, we will create our storyboard for the music video. On 11/29 through 12/10, we will film and edit our music video. On 12/13, we will have our final music video completed.  Location We plan on filming the music video at the beach and in a house. The beginning of the video will be filmed in a living room. The rest will be filmed at different parts of the beach as well. Some parts of the video may b

Our group is doing the song Best Day Of My Life. The genre of this song is pop rock. The band American Authors wrote this song, and they tend to do more pop rock and indie alternative songs.  We notice tracking shots in many pop music videos, allowing the viewer to follow alongside the main actors In the Best Day Of My Life music video, there are lots of close up shots to show the actors happiness and other emotions Jump cuts are used to switch between two different scenes depending on what the lyrics are saying They wear elaborate costumes, usually fit to follow along with the story being portrayed in the video.  During sadder or more dull moments the video uses dim lighting and the actors have low energy In the happier moments we can see sunlight and brighter colors, along with visible happiness in the actors as well. Out of all of the videos we watched, all of the videos told the story pertaining to the lyrics In pop videos, the actors are usually dancing. The dances can be choreogr

I am in a team of three people. My group is made up of me (Maria Koehl), Siena Pancera, and Parker Merrick. Each of us carry a different set of skills to bring to this class. We work well together and have a good relationship built. We all work together to benefit each other as well as ourselves. We play soccer together and that team bond we have can be a great asset. Working together on the last project has helped us learn how to work together on production and end up with a good final product. Here are some examples of what we each bring. Parker is smart and creative. She can help come up with ideas to make our project more cohesive and eye catching. She can also keep things in order and make sure and filming or editing processes go smoothly. She is outgoing and can work well with everyone. Siena has computer skills and is creative. She can edit as well as help come up with ideas to put our pieces of media together and make it engaging. She also has experience with backstage product

My name is Maria Rita but everyone calls me Maria. I was born and raised in South Florida. I am 15 and have 2 older brothers, Dylan and Kaelan. I have a dog named Lucy and a turtle named Bowser. My mom is from Brazil, most of her family still live there so we visit often. I value my close relationships and always try to do what is best. I spend a lot of my time with my best friends or playing soccer, but when I have down time I enjoy many hobbies. Some examples are painting, crafts, and baking. I went to a very small elementary/middle school and grew up around many of the same friends. I now attend Fort Lauderdale High School as a 10th grader. Once I graduate, I plan to go to college in hopes that I can play on a college women's soccer team. Soccer is a big part of my life, and I recently joined a new team. In an attempt to grow my soccer knowledge and skills in order to reach my goals. I enjoy listening to music, specifically indie styled music. I also occasionally enjoy musical
