new project, same team

 I am in a team of three people. My group is made up of me (Maria Koehl), Siena Pancera, and Parker Merrick. Each of us carry a different set of skills to bring to this class. We work well together and have a good relationship built. We all work together to benefit each other as well as ourselves. We play soccer together and that team bond we have can be a great asset. Working together on the last project has helped us learn how to work together on production and end up with a good final product. Here are some examples of what we each bring. Parker is smart and creative. She can help come up with ideas to make our project more cohesive and eye catching. She can also keep things in order and make sure and filming or editing processes go smoothly. She is outgoing and can work well with everyone. Siena has computer skills and is creative. She can edit as well as help come up with ideas to put our pieces of media together and make it engaging. She also has experience with backstage production work.
I bring in the artistic abilities. I can draw and design any ideas we have to help bring them to life. I can also work with Siena in editing to make it appealing. I also have experience with onstage and backstage production work and have filmed/edited a few things before. All of these expertise and capabilities we each have can be put together to create something great.

  While we viewed the title sequence for “Random Acts of Violence” we  found it had in total around twenty five titles. It had titles for the name of the film, the producer, the writer, the music, the studio company, the costume designer, the illustrator, and the director etc. The titles were white block letter style and had a heavy graphic overlay, a dark black background with bright primary colors flashing.  Throughout the opening sequence there were images of skulls and people laying on the ground that had an essence of death and violence. There were also images of creepy extreme close-up smiles. It made us feel negatively overstimulated giving us a sense of foreboding.   The movie titles that were included in "Code 8" were t he name of the studio, other companies that were associated with the production of the movie, the production company, the actors' names, who the casting was by, the visual effects supervisor, who the music was by, the costume designer, who it was edited by, who the color was by, the production designer, the director of photography, the co-producer, the associate producers, the executive producers, who it was produced by, who the screenplay was by, who the story was by, who it was directed by, and the movie title. The images that are prioritized in the opening sequence are all very mysterious and puzzling, such as a drone, a man hooked up with wires walking on a treadmill, and various people getting arrested.
