the fun continues with filming on... the beach!

 Now that we have our opening scene filmed, things are set to film the main portion of the video. Going into things, I had planned on acting in the music video at some point. But this ended up not being the case, as I worked on many behind the scene aspects to make sure filming ran smoothly. We filmed for a bit walking on the beach and such. After a bit had past, we made our way to an ice cream shop so that we could pick up one of our props. Since Parker was our main actress, she decided on what flavor ice cream she would use in the video. While we were there, I grabbed something to snack on since we had a full day a head of us. We continued filming right outside the shop. As we had gone along during this filming process, we had been continuously checking what we had filmed. This helped to make sure we had enough good footage to edit with, and avoid complications with re-filming. This process may have felt annoying in the process to have to re-watch the same footage, but had come in handy! We were able to catch small mistakes such as a reflection in a store window and fix it easily. We continued in this manner throughout the rest of the day.  Towards the end of filming, we had to get creative. We needed to film Parker tripping and falling safely yet realistically. We ultimately decided to film this portion on the sand. Siena and I set up our "set" and filmed the rest of this scene. Once we wrapped up filming for the day, I felt as though we accomplished a lot and confident that we had filmed entertaining scenes. Our day had gone fairly smooth. I am looking forward to editing and the final product!

  While we viewed the title sequence for “Random Acts of Violence” we  found it had in total around twenty five titles. It had titles for the name of the film, the producer, the writer, the music, the studio company, the costume designer, the illustrator, and the director etc. The titles were white block letter style and had a heavy graphic overlay, a dark black background with bright primary colors flashing.  Throughout the opening sequence there were images of skulls and people laying on the ground that had an essence of death and violence. There were also images of creepy extreme close-up smiles. It made us feel negatively overstimulated giving us a sense of foreboding.   The movie titles that were included in "Code 8" were t he name of the studio, other companies that were associated with the production of the movie, the production company, the actors' names, who the casting was by, the visual effects supervisor, who the music was by, the costume designer, who it was edited by, who the color was by, the production designer, the director of photography, the co-producer, the associate producers, the executive producers, who it was produced by, who the screenplay was by, who the story was by, who it was directed by, and the movie title.
